As we continue to expand, we are seeking a hands-on IT Operations Manager to lead our technology operations, ensuring seamless infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software management while supporting our ambitious growth plans.
**Position Overview**:
The IT Operations Manager will oversee AutoShack’s IT infrastructure, cloud systems, cybersecurity, and software development. Leading a small in-house IT team of 8 and coordinating with external contractors, you will ensure that our IT systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that requires expertise in IT operations, vendor management, and project execution.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. IT Operations and Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee IT systems, including cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), on-premise networks, and data security.
- Implement proactive monitoring systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize risks and downtime.
2. People and Vendor Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage an in-house IT team of 8 professionals, fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to SLAs and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and track KPIs to measure team and vendor performance.
3. Cloud Systems and Cybersecurity:
- Manage cloud systems to ensure scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Oversee cybersecurity protocols, including threat monitoring, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
- Conduct regular cybersecurity audits and ensure robust protection against data breaches.
4. Software and Systems Management:
- Manage key enterprise systems, including Salesforce Commerce, NetSuite ERP, Manhattan Scale, and TalkDesk.
- Oversee in-house software developers to deliver business-aligned software solutions on time and within budget.
- Ensure seamless integration of systems to support operations and company growth.
5. Project Management and Budget Oversight:
- Lead IT projects, including cloud migrations, system upgrades, and software development, using PMP-certified methodologies.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide regular reporting on IT performance, project updates, and budget utilization.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
**Experience**:
- 5-7 years of experience in IT operations management, with proven expertise in:
- Cloud systems (AWS, Azure).
- Cybersecurity protocols and compliance.
- Managing enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite ERP, Manhattan Scale).
- Leading small IT teams and managing external contractors.
- Driving KPIs, metrics reporting, and IT budget oversight.
**Skills**:
- Hands-on leader with a strategic mindset.
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage daily operations and complex projects simultaneously.
- Expert in vendor negotiations and performance management.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with technical teams and business stakeholders.
**Certifications (preferred)**:
- PMP Certification.
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
