**Evening Team Lead**

**Afternoon shift. 15:15 - 1:45, Monday to Thursday. 4 days
- 10-hour shifts each day.**

**Reports To: Operations Manager**

**Rate of Pay - $25.50 + $1.00 shift premium**

The role of our evening shift team lead is to follow the production plan and supervise the daily activities of the production team in all of our production departments. To ensure that products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to product specifications and our quality requirements.

**Position Summary**:

- Follow production plan and coordinate production work orders to ensure orders are completed on time.
- Delegate and follow up with the team regarding work requirements and cycle times.
- Provide appropriate orientation, coaching and training support for new and existing staff.
- Ability to lead and assist team members in the operation of production equipment.
- Manage Amtech data updates, including load tags and material movements.
- Complete Quality Reports and all other required documentation
- Manage any production changes due to issues that may arise
- Operate forklift
- Perform all other tasks assigned by Supervisor

**Qualifications**
- Must exhibit safe work ethics
- Ability to read and interpret Smith Induspac drawings and specifications
- Technical capabilities to set up and operate production equipment
- Must have basic computer skills
- Fluent with basic measurement devices in Metric/Imperial and conversion capabilities
- Have a positive, engaged contributor style attitude
- Must be organized, detail and quality oriented
- Previous work experience / training / education is an asset

**Working Conditions**: The position requires continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and carrying. Work outside and inside, work around machinery.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $26.50 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- Evening shift
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:
