This is a full Personal Lines Insurance Broker - Account Manager role, 100% working from home.
Your work will focus on 2 main lines of business: Personal property insurance and Personal auto insurance. You will be involved in servicing a book of business. You will enjoy our team meetings, growth sessions, ongoing training classes so you can learn more, earn more, and contribute your ideas to the rest of the team.

Our new customers approach us online or call in for service and advice. Your role as a RIBO Account Manager is key in our organization because we have high growth
aspirations and are focused on delivering an excellent customer experience. We are on a path to becoming a major insurance broker in Ontario.
Currently our office hours are 8am - 5pm, M-F. You are expected to work an 8 hour shift during these hours.
**Primary responsibilities include**:
- Prepare insurance quotes using Applied Rating Services (Compuquote) and sell, upsell and/or cross sell insurance policies
- Discuss renewals and endorsements with customers
- Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction
- Accurately read and interpret Hits, MVR and Autoplus reports
- Upload policies on insurance company portals, provide quotations to customers and brokers, etc
- Send payment reminders when necessary
- Assist customers in claims situations
- Issue Temporary Liability Cards and Insurance Certificates for customers
- Know, understand and be ready to learn some of our current insurance companies’ portals including: Intact, Aviva, Economical, Travelers, Chieftain, Pembridge, Max, Chubb, Echelon, Pafco, Jevco among others.
- Work directly with TSRs to provide a great customer experience to our customers and increase retention
- Able to take on other tasks as necessary to help the team
**You Need**:
- A RIBO license. Working towards CAIB and/or CIP is a bonus
- 3-5years of prior experience as a TSR, Insurance Customer Service Representative, Insurance Broker, or Junior Underwriter is a must
- Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Very strong attention to detail
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Confidence in your ability to manage a book of business without supervision
- A love for learning new ways of doing things
- Enthusiasm for dealing with people and helping them
