**Front Office Supervisor**

**Job description**

Front Office Supervisor in a hotel environment works to keep front desk organized by supporting the needs of the entire front office staff. This typically means that they have to plan and execute a wide range of duties and day-to-day front desk life. By doing this, they can create a fun and efficient workplace for all desk staff. Front Desk Supervisor should be expected to:

- Place weekly/monthly front desk supplies.
- Maintain efficiency within the office by establishing the best policies, standards, and procedures for their company or department
- Train and successfully onboard new hires
- Ensure your front office team delivers a great service, professional attention and personal recognition to our guests to ensure guest retention.
- Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and make time to engage with guests. Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction
- Conduct routine inspections of the front office, public areas, guest rooms and take immediate actions to correct any deficiencies
- Must be punctual, must commit to scheduled shifts, must be dressed in business attire at all times.
- Must be able to lift heavy items up to 40lbs, must be able to stand and work at front desk at times for long periods.
- Assists in any other tasks/projects assigned by upper management.

**Requirement**
- Must be English speaking, reliable, punctual.
- Experience in hotel for a minimum of 1 year is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and to supervise colleagues in an efficient manner as well as delegate work load.
- To be able to rally staff together to work as a team is one ability that is needed.
- Flexible work hours, days and shifts is required in this position.

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
