**Expectations**
- Read and understand drawings and specifications and develop quantity takeoffs.
- Have experience in building project schedules and construction methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Estimating and Operations teams.
- Have an understanding of typical contract models used in Heavy Civil Construction.
- Read and understand contract terms and conditions.
- Have a basic understanding of heavy civil construction activities, particularly around earthworks and concrete in remote locations.
- Strong working independently and as a team.
- Keen to learn new tasks, take the initiative, and take on new responsibilities.
- Able to effectively manage time.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum two years experience in civil construction.
- Experience working with construction estimating software.
- Field experience, technical diploma, or engineering degree an asset.
- Registration with ASTTBC or EGBC an asset.
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Project.
- Strength in change management.
- Adaptable under pressure.
- Organized and high attention to detail.
