Marketing Launch and Promotions Team Lead

**Role Summary**

The Marketing Launch and Promotions Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing marketing initiatives including the Go-to-Market strategy for product launches. In this role, you will be working with the Product Development, Sales, Digital, and Customer Education Teams to meet customer satisfaction, product launch buy-in, and overall revenue goals. The Marketing Launch and Promotions Team Lead will be prioritizing marketing launch initiatives and resources and ensuring that marketing efforts support Eminence’s overall strategy and goals for launch. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Review and approve the Project Plans and Critical Paths for all new product launches.
- Responsible for the Go-to-Market strategy, including marketing collateral and key messaging for launches and promotions
- Responsible for driving the launch debrief meeting, including all related actions prior, during and after
- Ensure clear and accurate communication is provided throughout the organization regarding the launch of new products including key deliverables, milestone dates and the company’s Go-to-Market strategy
- Manage one or more launches and their deliverables with the support of the Marketing Project Coordinator when required
- Provide regular status reports to the Director of Marketing Operations, highlighting any pending risks or issues affecting the successful delivery of the launch
- Sign-off on marketing deliverables for product launches, and ensure product launches are delivered on time and as per the project scope
- Evaluate processes and suggest new methodology as appropriate to ensure marketing launch deliverables are executed as efficiently as possible
- Proactively gather, analyze, and drive insights from local market knowledge and competitive landscape across all channels
- Work with the Digital Experience Team to monitor and manage the digital lifecycle of launch-related assets on the Eminence website
- Maintain an active Marketing Projects Dashboard and monitor the overall activities within Marketing Launches and Promotions team
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are created and maintained for functional tasks
- Assist in the attraction and selection of new Marketing Team-members
- Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews

**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations
- 3+ years of experience managing teams
- Up to date with the latest marketing trends and best practices
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and systems implementation
- Experience in merchandising and planogram an asset
- Experience working in brand management/governance an asset
- Experience in the Spa and/or Health and Beauty industry an asset
- Experience in Product Launch Management (conception through to SKU Rationalization) with consumer package goods an asset
- Exceptional communication, project management, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills (especially MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and intermediate to advanced Excel)
