**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise, as well as sending updates.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Familiarity with freight handling processes and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
- At least 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.

**Driving**

We have a dedicated route to Calgary with a return trip. Pin to pin so you delivering a trailer and picking up another.

Expected hours: 60 - 120 per week
