**About The Job**:Inlailawatash is looking for a Field Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team and coordinate field-based work in backcountry and urban environments. You will have the opportunity to work on newly started complex infrastructure development projects and meaningfully contribute to economic Indigenous reconciliation.

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year based on a 35-hour working week.

**Job Summary**:These newly created positions are intended to help Inlailawatash become an industry leader in the provision of Ecosystem Services. Inlailawatash has established a strong reputation for successful delivery of construction, landscape, and Environmental Monitoring projects and is looking to expand these services going forward.

The Field Coordinator will work with Inlailawatash management to:

- Support the coordination and management of field projects within the Ecosystem Services Department.
- Assist in developing new project and business opportunities to support continued growth.
- Provide support and assistance to other Inlailawatash departments, including Vegetation Management and Forestry, as required.

Although this position is primarily field based, there will be a portion of time spent on office tasks as well as site visits, including travel and occasional overnight stays.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Work collaboratively with Inlailawatash management to manage and coordinate all key aspects of the Ecosystem Restoration Business Unit and assist in coordinating and managing various natural resource projects, including:

- Engaging and working with clients and project partners.
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors.
- Coordinating logistics and supervising project fieldwork, including on site project and safety supervision.
- Monitoring project performance, writing up project summaries and reports.
- Identify new project opportunities, develop and submit project bid responses and proposals.
- Work collaboratively with project partners and associates to identify and develop new partnership and capacity building opportunities.
- Provide support and assistance to the other program areas as directed by the Ecosystem Services Manager.
- Provide general office and administrative support.

**Qualifications and Attributes**:

- Education/Experience:_
- An undergraduate with 3 years or graduate degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Ecological Restoration, or related field.
- Interest in First Nations cultural and environmental values and environmental stewardship is essential; past work with First Nations is considered an asset.
- Relevant industry or professional experience (such as environmental consulting / services, natural resource management).
- Experience coordinating/managing projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of environmental mitigation and protection planning measures.
- Experience working as part of a team in an environmental / natural resource-based environment.
- Valid BC driver’s license and ability to operate a wide range of equipment and machinery including but not limited to: ATV, trailers, and 4X4 trucks. Willing and able to travel by boat or helicopter.
- Level 1 First Aid preferred, but not essential (training provided).
- Technical Skills:_
- Strong planning and organizational skills, detail oriented.
- Strong awareness of the importance of safety, with the ability to develop, implement and manage safety protocols and procedures in coordination with work crews.
- Knowledge in and experience of project management considered an asset.
- Excellent oral and digital communication skills with a demonstrated ability to produce plans, reports, and other written products.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
