Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Department: Housekeeping

Reports To: Housekeeping Managers

Position Summary: Assists with operation of housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum profitability and service quality.

Working hours will typically be Wednesday to Sundays 8:30 am until 5:30 pm. Weekend work is a must.

Specific Duties

Ø Assists Housekeeping Manager in directing the activities of the Housekeeping/Laundry department, and furnishes daily cleaning service to guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel.

Ø Cleaning and stripping rooms following Brand Standards.

Ø Communicates all maintenance and repair needs to appropriate individuals.

Ø Follows ICARE CLEAN procedures.

Ø Distributes daily workload of room attendant in absence of Manager.

Ø Training of new room attendants.

Ø Ensures good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the hotel assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures.

Ø Maintains new techniques and products to maximize the profitable operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department.

Ø Is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, neatness, and good repair of all hotel areas.

Ø Performs detailed inspection of all guest rooms (vacant, check-outs, and occupied alike), instructs on necessary corrections.

Ø Provides guest room statues reports to Front Desk, Housekeeping Manager, and General Manager.

Ø Assist in the training and motivation of the housekeeping staff.

Ø Should have an eye for detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and housekeeping staff.

Ø Maintains a high quality of cleanliness standards.

Ø Administrative duties as required.

Ø Provide superior customer care as well as adhering to the ICARE culture.

Ø Respect all other employees.

Ø Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Ø All other duties assigned by management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.32 per hour
