**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Maintenance and Operations, the Controls Technician performs a variety of skilled tasks required for the maintenance, upgrading and renovations of HVAC systems and equipment within the central zone hospitals.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Certified Journeyperson or a graduate of an Industrial Instrumentation, Mechanical or Electrical Technology course.
- Access to reliable transportation is required
- Journeyperson Electrician with controls experience would also be considered.
- Four years’ experience in HVAC Control preferred.
- Knowledge of air balancing techniques and methods is required.
- Commercial and/or Industrial Controls experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of all HVAC systems and pneumatic and electronic control systems, devices and programming.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$27.30 - $32.49 Hourly

This position is currently eligible for a Market Adjustment of approximately $170.62 biweekly. Eligibility for a Market Adjustment is reviewed periodically.
