Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and coordinate logistics operations such as inventory management, order fulfillment, and transportation.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure efficient processes.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and shipments.
- Implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage demand planning and forecasting to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor warehouse distribution activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist in pricing negotiations with carriers and vendors.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like AS400.
- Strong analytical skills to drive process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of freight logistics and transportation management.
- Experience in demand planning and inventory control.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and distribution.
- Ability to negotiate effectively for the best prices with suppliers.
