Chemical Blending and packaging. Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm.
***:This position is responsible for producing products that meet quality specifications by operating machines, handling products, and packaging finished products.
This position requires acceptable progress in learning production processes, equipment operation, and packaging procedures.
**POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**The following are essential job functions.**
- Ensure raw materials and other supplies are available before starting production batch.
- Assist with setting up, operating, or tending machines to mix or blend materials.
- Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
- Produce assigned quality and quantity of product efficiently, maintaining the lowest possible waste levels by following established work instructions.
- Operate assigned machine(s) properly.
- Pull samples of finished goods for Quality Assurance approval.
- Label and palletize finished product.
- Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
- Complete required documentation for materials used and produced in an accurate and timely manner.
- Complies with all safety-, health
- and environmental management-related policies and procedures.
Report conditions or actions by employees or others that might create a hazard to themselves or others in the plant to management.

**Communications** - Must be able to effectively communicate one-on-one and in small group situations; communicates effectively both orally and in written form,
**Mathematical** - Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide; must have the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
**Mechanical Aptitude** - Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
**Problem-solving** - Must have ability to reason and address problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
**Reading Comprehension** - Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
RESPONSABILITÉS DU POSTE
Opérateur
Mélanger et peser les matières premières.
Opérer les mélangeurs.
Mélanger les ingrédients selon la fiche de production.
Transférer les matériaux en suivant les instructions sur la fiche d’emballage.
Tenir à jour les registres de production et de qualité.
En charge de manufacturer des produits finis selon les procédures ISO.
Répondre aux exigences de qualité.
Nettoyez les machines pour qu'elles soient exemptes de toute contamination.
Entretenir l'équipement afin qu'il fonctionne à un niveau optimal.
Suivre et appliquer toutes les procédures de sécurité requises, tels que:
- Cadenassage/décadenassage
- Utilisation des EPI requis
- Utilisation correcte des protections de la machine
Responsabilités professionnelles secondaires
- Peser les matériaux au besoin, en utilisant une balance appropriée.
- Opérer les machines lors de la production
- Autres tâches assignées.
SPÉCIFICATIONS DU POSTE
Formation mínimale : Diplôme d'études secondaires ou GED (optionnel)
Expérience mínimale : Deux à trois ans d'expérience préalable dans un environnement de production (un atout)
Compétences fondamentales
- Avoir un Français fonctionnel, l’anglais est un atout important
- Doit être formé aux règles et protocoles de sécurité
- Doit être capable de lever et manipuler des matières de 25Kg
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
