Description Summary: Under the direction of the branch manager, the incumbent repairs, reconditions, and maintains motor-driven welding equipment and generators, and ensures that the work environment is safe.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure a safe working environment by complying with Airgas/Red-D-Arc health and safety guidelines.Repair and refurbish all electric drives and motors.Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental. Test and calibrate machines to ensure they are functional for rental or sale.Repaint parts, touch up paint, and apply decals to welders to maintain overall appearance.Replace defective parts and perform necessary preventive maintenance.Order parts needed to perform repairs.Inspects returned equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly and/or has not been damaged by the customer.Uses a forklift, pallet jack, or other necessary equipment to store the required parts in the workshop.Ensures that the work environment is always clean and organized.Prepares and completes documentation for all machine repairs.Occasionally, provides after-sales service for equipment and customers off-site.Maintains communication with all branch staff.Occasionally advises customers on the equipment best suited to their projects.#LI-DNI________________________Are you a MATCH?
