Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced hearing aid dispensing Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and use the latest industry techniques and technology as you carry out your profession.
Services you provide patients will include initial consultations, hearing tests, hearing aid repairs, counselling, dispensing hearing aids and follow-up care.
**Duties**
- Conduct comprehensive audiometric evaluations
- Evaluate hearing loss and related disorders and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Fit, dispense and maintain hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
- Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology practices and technology.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
**Requirements**:
You are a highly motivated, dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills. You present yourself positively and professionally every single day, coupled with the ability to quickly establish rapport to gain trust and credibility with patients.
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Audiology or HIS Certification
- Licensed by CASLPO/AHIP
- Possess a current authorizer number with ADP
- Present professionally with strong written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to counsel patients according to their specific needs
- Attention to detail; follow through skills
- Caring and compassionate customer approach with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Persuasive skills to influence appropriate outcomes
- Accountability and ownership; results oriented
- Adaptable and organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and hearing aid technology is required
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
**Salary range** based on previous experience.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
