**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Training & Standards Assistant is responsible for assisting the Training
Manager and Training Officers to plan, organize and facilitate training for the organization.
training and following up with employees to ensure completion of their training.
Quality internal customer service, in-depth admin functions, attention to detail, safety and
possess solid multi-tasking and verbal/written communication skills, be energetic, outgoing,
understanding and accepting of change. He/She must also be flexible and able to deal with
the adapting nature of aviation, Canada Labour Code and Governmental requirements. The
Training & Standards Assistant represents Maintair, its customers, and staff, and as a result
must present a professional, unwavering management character.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Manager and Training Department.
- Report to Manager and Owner/Operator’s on an as needed (daily) basis.
- Complete and support daily paperwork, filling etc.
- Inform potential employees about onboarding, e-learning and assist with compliance

for hiring needs.
- Record the attendance of the employees in the training sessions.
- Prints, records and issues Training Certificates
- Input training from all sources into Bamboo and prepare and distribute reports as

needed.
- Updates and maintains Training Matrix for Maintair, for all stations.
- Updates and maintains Training Matrix for Client Carriers, for all stations.
- Follow up with new and recurrent students to ensure they have received their training

and ensure they are progressing well through the courses and answer any questions

they may have.
- Provide support to students who have special needs or require assistance with their

computers and guidance on uploading their certificates.
- Ensure notice is provided to all parties when students are non-compliant with training

requirements or CAPs.
- Attend outstations to complete training document audits and standards reviews as

needed and approved by management.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum College Diploma with equivalent experience Admin or Clerical Work.
- Must be able to obtain a Canadian RAIC.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License and be willing to use personal vehicle.
- Must have proficient Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Windows experience.
- Experience working in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment with at least 2

years’ experience is an asset.
- Excellent keyboarding skills are essential.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, and operational skills.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and/or in a team environment

working varied hours and on call.
- Must be able to work from home as required.
- Must present in business casual attire.
