**Business Analyst**
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- ** Requirements Gathering**: Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to understand their requirements, objectives, and challenges related to the new system deployment.
- ** Analysis and Documentation**: Analyze business processes, workflows, and data requirements to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Document detailed business and functional requirements, use cases, and user stories to guide system development and configuration.
- ** Solution Design**: Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs. Ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
- ** Testing and Validation**: Develop test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate system functionality and ensure it meets business requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for iterative improvements.
- ** Change Management**: Assist in developing change management strategies and plans to facilitate smooth adoption of the new system. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they understand how to effectively use the system.
- ** Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and issues related to system deployment and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively communicate with stakeholders to address concerns and ensure project success.
- ** Communication and Collaboration**: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, project team members, and external vendors. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive alignment and decision-making throughout the deployment process.
- ** Data Analysis Support**: Collaborate with data stakeholders to understand data requirements and dependencies for the new system. Analyze existing data structures and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Work closely with technical teams to ensure data migration and integration tasks are executed effectively. Provide data insights and recommendations to inform decision-making throughout the system deployment process.
**Qualification, Skills and Key Competencies Required**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) working as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in system deployment or implementation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Experience with Agile or iterative development methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with system deployment processes, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and change management.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data analysis, and user story mapping.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in data analysis techniques, including data cleansing, transformation, and visualization. Proficiency in SQL or other querying languages to extract and manipulate data for analysis purposes. Ability to perform data quality assessments and ensure data accuracy and completeness within the new system.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
**Working Conditions/Special Notes**:
- McKeil Marine Limited is a 24/7 operating business, this role will require after hours support for emergencies when business requirements dictate with regular on-call rotation.
- The ability to work remotely at home as outlined by current Hybrid WFH protocols and policies.
