**Job Summary**

Marshall Construction is looking for an experienced, talented individual to join our team as a **Class 1 Heavy Equipment Operator. As a class 1 equipment operator, you will operate **Telebelt /Concrete Pump/skid steer/excavator/ drive. Operator is responsible for the preparation, operation, maintenance, repairing and more within the jobsite and shop site.

Also ensure safe operating procedures according to specifications of jobs and equipment specifications of loads and equipment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Drive and operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate heavy equipment using controls such as levers, pedals and buttons;
- Observing equipment gauges, indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions;
- Must have the ability to clean and maintain the truck in a standard Marshall Construction Company sees fit for the machine.
- Shoveling of materials as required;
- The equipment operator shall perform minor maintenance to the equipment belt, rollers, etc. They will also be responsible for checking the oil, antifreeze, etc. when starting work
- Repairing, maintaining, cleaning and adjusting equipment, often using hand tools;
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the equipment
- Must be able to read a permit and follow the guidelines, both route and available time frames.
- Must be mechanically inclined-basic mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Must wear appropriate protective gear such as steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat and other PPE that is required.
- **Other duties as assigned.**:

- **Must be able to work overtime as needed.**

**Requirements**:

- Class 1 driver’s license
- A clean 3- years commercial driver’s abstract
- At least 2-3 years of related experience in operating telebelt/concrete pump/skid steer/ excavator
- Residential, commercial, industrial construction experience
- Concrete foundation experience
- Drug and alcohol test

**PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES**:Physically Fit/ able to handle heavy loads up to 45kg (100lbs). Able to work long hours in standing positions and doing repetitive tasks. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be ok with heights. Enjoy working outdoors
