We have 4 locations total (Taber, Drayton Valley, Fairview, and Kamloops, BC). Our low commission rates and aggressive marketing strategies help our customers sell and buy items successfully. Team Auctions is proud to have won awards for "Best Marketing Website". **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Recognize that Yard Staff are an integral part of the internal communications network in the yard. - Yard/warehouse Staff Schedule (Manage in BrightHR, Updates to HR Admin, Coordinate with Yard Manager to meet sale needs, Sign off from Sales Director and VP). - Arrange for and schedule all sale day casual staff. - Hire and supervise competent and experienced operators. - Ensure signs are up in yard. - Gather and verify equipment inventory information (equipment additions, serial numbers, year verification, etc.). - Compose and take photos of the equipment. - Manage lot numbers. - Organize onsite yard/warehouse supplies. - Manage keys for equipment onsite. - Operate forklift to load/unload stationary row equipment. - Boost equipment. - Basic assembly of equipment i.e., dozer blades, etc. - Check fuel levels on equipment. - Lot number equipment. - Ensure equipment is in sale-ready condition. - Perform facility inspections (per checklists) and provide housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary. - Ensure sale site safety with Safety Coordinator, ongoing compliance with all corporate and legislated health and safety and environmental policies, regulations, and laws. - Assist the Yard Manager with any other auction yard duties when required. - Receive/release (checks-in/checks-out) consigned equipment for auction: - Add owner codes - Remove keys - Complete customer check in sheet - Drive/operate heavy and light equipment. - Perform basic maintenance on TEAM owned equipment & site. - Identify and record equipment components, accessories and asset details. - Ensure the quality of equipment data and other related information. - Perform other various duties as required from time to time. **Qualifications**: - Driver’s License - Class 1 (Asset) **Working Conditions**: Will be required to work outside in all Weather conditions. Overtime must be pre-approved by the manager. **Physical Requirements** May have to lift up to 50lbs. **Motion Parameters** Required to climb stairs, walk, squat, kneel, or drive and stand for long periods of them. **Vision and Hearing Requirements** The ability to judge distances when loading/unloading and placing excepted. **Psychological Demands** Expected to make quick decisions, supervise workers, problem solve, read or write, speak publicly, or interpret data. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.
