**We are currently seeking a full-time Gym Manager to join our team.**
The Gym Manager leads the team and ensures the business operates efficiently, cleanliness, ensuring the club is achieving projected membership/sales goals, and that each member has a positive and pleasant customer journey experience.
**Key Responsibilities Include**
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment that will be conducive to maximize employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Meet and exceed team sales quota by monitoring sales KPIs, forecasting, fine-tuning sales processes, and ensuring consistency of sales metrics among the team;
- Generate sales through providing guests with tours of the facility, business to business outreach, referrals from members, and promoting the facility by distributing guest passes to prospective members;
- Facilitate community collaboration by arranging lead boxes at local businesses to increase club exposure in the community;
- Be active in the community by organizing events regularly, connecting with other local businesses to support healthy relationships and marketing opportunities;
- Prepare and present sales reports to management on a weekly basis
- Inspire and grow your sales team through leading by examples and building a positive team spirit;
- Train all sales staff on the proper Anytime Fitness procedures and policies regarding gym tours, membership presentations, and sales tactics
- Keep the gym and the equipment clean throughout the day;
- Manage, monitor, and evaluate the performance of all staff.
- Monitor the hiring, training, and scheduling of all staff.
- Properly delegate, monitor, and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of the sales team with the Sales Manager and the Marketing team.
- Manage disciplinary actions involving all gym-level employees.
**Operational Duties**:
- Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service in a high-volume retail environment through both personal actions and the development of the staff.
- Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
- Plan and promote special events for the gym on a monthly basis, using corporate marketing as needed.
- Ensure that the facility is clean and operationally sound.
**Job Qualifications**:
- High School diploma. Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with two years of management experience preferred.
- Min. 1-year experience in the Fitness Industry
- Be sales-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company-required outreach programs.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls, and facilities maintenance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
- Proficient in the use of all software programs that are utilized at the facility
- Ability and experience in effectively motivating and managing a staff of employees
**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
