**Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to)**:

- Process accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments
- Monitor and record cattle receivables and maintain detailed records of cattle sales
- Prepare and file monthly GST returns in compliance with federal regulations
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Monthly availability required
to perform payroll
- Draft and maintain rental agreements in accordance with tenancy regulations
- Full cycle accounting for some smaller companies
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Other administrative duties as required

**Skills**:

- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Knowledge of payroll systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
- Knowledge of rental agreements is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or financial administration
- Experience working in agriculture, property management, or a small business setting is an asset

**Schedule**:
35-40 Hours per week
