Tri-Star Automation Inc. is an automation, electrical and building maintenance contractor celebrating our 20th year in business.

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Casual Maintenance Worker to join our team on an as-needed basis. As a Casual Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep tasks to ensure the smooth operation and appearance of facilities. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and is perfect for individuals seeking supplemental income or looking to work on a part-time basis.

**Duties**:

- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, grounds, and landscaping to identify maintenance and groundskeeping needs.
- Perform general repairs, such as minor plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Maintain and care for outdoor spaces, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining flower beds.
- Ensure proper irrigation and watering of plants and lawns.
- Keep sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor areas clean and free from debris.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, storage rooms, and outdoor equipment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and groundskeeping activities and report any significant findings or concerns to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors as needed for larger maintenance and landscaping projects.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in general maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Proficient in performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting techniques.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clear criminal background (Bondable)
- Own transportation is an asset

Wage is highly dependent on experience and breath of skills.
