Production Supervisor

Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure safety rules are followed by all staff
- Guide staff in the efficient production of high-quality products
- Supervise all production, packaging, sanitation and warehouse staff on their shift.
- Participate in the hiring of all operations staff
- Support the Continuous Improvement manager in improvement initiatives
- Work with maintenance staff to optimize factory uptime
- Ensure all documentation is completed properly
- Support the delivery of optimum safety, quality and efficiency through the identification and elimination of inefficiencies on the process
- Coordinate all sanitation tasks
- Assist in the development of competencies of all staff to align with company goals
- Communicate all direction from management to shift personnel
- Training, mentoring and guiding team members in new processes and procedures
FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in Training as needed
- Ensure Quality Standards are met
- Follow GMP Practices
SKILLS REQUIRED (INCLUDE EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND PROFICIENCY):
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Food Science or equivalent manufacturing experience required
- 5 Years in a management or supervisory role
- Excellent team building and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
