To support our growth in North America, we are looking for a logistics coordinator to join our team. You will be part of the Canadian subsidiary team of PASQAL located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. In this manufacturing location, we are building world-class quantum computers in one of the most advanced technological fields shaping the 21st century. This role will help to support our Facility and Supply Chain Manager and technical teams who make our quantum computers real in a safe environment.
In this role, you will support the planning and execution of our procurement & internal operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the input of orders into the system and timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials to our facility or partners on premises. You will also manage inventory, transportation, and warehouse activities in this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create order from requested items into our procurement tool.
- Create new suppliers and items into our ERP (NetSuite).
- Monitor and update computer systems to track the status and location of orders and inventory.
- Confirm the receiving of items to initiate the payment process to suppliers.
- Communicate with colleagues, and partners to confirm shipment details or resolve issues with deliveries.
- Coordinate with other departments within the organization to arrange for shipping services such as freight forwarders or trucking companies.
- Review and verify shipping documents to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
- Maintain inventory reports and records and make adjustment when necessary.
- Ship and receive items using industrial equipment.
- Able to lift and carry package of reasonable weight.
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment.
To be successful as a Logistics Coordinator, you will need to have good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You will need to have basic knowledge of logistics software, regulations, and best practices in North America. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, carriers, and partners, to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with quality standards.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic logistics software, computer-savvy
- Knowledge of logistics regulations, policies, and best practices a must
- Good communication (English and French), and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with little supervision, under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Willing to work onsite 5 days a week in Sherbrooke
- Team player with a positive attitude and customer-first approach
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 25 pounds & move about the factory floor
**Nice to have**:
International shipping experience (ISO)
BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
