**Full Time Service Writer Cyclesmith**

Primary duties include but are not limited to providing a fluid and accommodating point of contact for customers to drop off their bicycles that are in need of service and repair. A large portion of the job is face-to-face discussion and questioning to determine how to best serve the customer and their needs.

A thorough multi-point inspection of every bicycle is completed and options are discussed with the customer to determine the best service outcome to have their bike functioning at its best for their needs.

On-the-spot labour and parts requirements will be determined to give an encompassing quote so customers know what to expect from their service experience.

The job is dynamic, challenging, and constantly changing. If you are efficient, great with people, willing to constantly learn and adapt as a member of a team, and love the world of cycling, this job is for you.

A hunger for new information: Always ask questions

Computer proficiency: internet browsers, basic word processing and media

A knack for observation and documentation

Ability to multitask

Basic knowledge of bicycle anatomy and function

A passion for cycling is a strong asset but not a requirement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
