**We are looking for a full-time Forklift Operator to work out of our Mississauga location.**

This position involves loading and unloading trucks, feeding production lines and the safe operation of lift trucks. Other responsibilities include warehousing of products and supplies, housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management.

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Forklift Operator include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Works as part of a team to warehouse product off packaging lines;
- Feeds and retrieves pallets from various production lines;
- Assembles and checks orders **using warehouse management system;**:

- Services customers and receives shipments from suppliers;
- loading and unloading of trucks in a safe manner;
- Records detailed shipping/receiving documentation;
- Rotates stock and conducts inventory cycle counts;
- Oversees food safety and quality as outlined in SOPs and other training materials provided and ensures accurate record keeping;
- Attends prescribed courses and training as required; and
- Other duties as required

Please note this role has regular exposure to noise, humidity, dry conditions and cool conditions in the winter. This role would have exposure to hazardous machines, moving objects (e.g.: forklifts) and frequent interruptions and occasional exposure to dust.

Due to the nature of the duties, the role would be sitting, standing and walking for periods of time and would require moderate lifting of materials up to a maximum of 25 kg.
- Minimum high school diploma and/or related CPG or food warehousing experience;
- Forklift license/certification
- Experience using automated warehouse management system is a must;
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including excellent sanitary habits and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP);
- Strong attention to detail when working with calculations and product counts;
- Strong ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal;
- Ability to work as an individual and in a team environment;
- Ability to be flexible to work outside of set shifts and perform other duties as required;
- Ability to carry out physical duties of the role;
- Ability to multi-task; and
- Computer skills would be an asset.
