**Purpose**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct Mill, Underground, and Surface Common Core
- Conduct camp inductions as requested
- Conduct Equipment training
- Deliver site, mill, and underground inductions to all new employees and contractors
- Monitor and modify training programs, inductions, tests and documentation as needed
- Maintain accurate training records
- Complete training needs analysis and design training programs
- Perform job observations on all employees at the mine to determine if follow-up training is necessary
- Deliver specialty Common Core modules
- Audit training programs and records to ensure legislative compliance and adherence to safety measures
- Complete and document trainer review audit minimum of once a year with all Train-the-trainer

**Requirements**:

- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
- Underground Common Core modules 1-10, and possess either Mill, Surface, or Underground specialty modules as applicable.
- 5 years of proven competencies in Mine Production operations.
- Familiarity in preparation of training manuals and testing competencies.
- Knowledgeable in interpretation of Ministry of Labour standards
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Strong Commitment to Working Safely.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

**Working Conditions**:
**The schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day.**
