The Cool Aid Dental Clinic is a not-for-profit dental clinic that serves the greater Victoria area and is looking for a compassionate, kind and patient-centred dentist. Treatment is not limited to relief of pain. The Cool Aid Dental Clinic provides a full range of dental services including diagnostic, preventive, surgical, prostheses, and restorative to adults who face multiple barriers to dental care. The clinic sees those adults that may be experiencing homelessness, those that may be struggling with mental health and addictions issues and those on a fixed or low income.

The Cool Aid Dental Clinic is situated right in the heart of downtown Victoria - close to shops, restaurants, the beautiful inner harbour and Beacon Hill Park. Victoria is renowned as a green city with bicycle trails throughout the city as well as trails leading up island and to the ferry. This is a great opportunity for a dentist who wants to make a difference in the lives of those who are challenged to access health services and in need of affordable dental care. This would be a great opportunity for a dentist that would like to practice without the demands of overseeing the administrative demands of a clinic.

**Requirements**:
Duly qualified Doctor of Dental Medicine/Surgery in good standing with the College of Dental Surgeons of B.C.

**Hourly Rate**:$100.

**Hours & Days**:Tuesday to Thursday from 8:30am - 4:30pm, and Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm.

Totals Weekly Hours: 30.

**Position Type**:Contracted Position.

As of November 1, 2021, Cool Aid requires that all its staff are fully vaccinated (7 days past their second dose of vaccine) against COVID-19. If you are offered employment, it will be contingent on you providing proof of vaccination prior to your first day of employment. If proof of vaccination is not provided, the offer of employment will be rescinded.
