PURPOSE
The Administrator, Human Resources is accountable to the Manager, Human Resources for supporting the Human Resources function in a variety of tasks and projects in the areas of payroll, benefits and human resources to ensure that the departmental goals are continuously met and high standard of client services is provided to all stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- **Recruitment and On-boarding**
- **Human Resources Administration and Reporting**
Processes and maintain HR related documents and files, including electronic files. Offer letter creation, extension letters, and contract end letters. Responsible for developing expertise in and maintaining the integrity of Morguard’s HRIS system for generating reports and conducting data audits
- **Employee Relations**
Familiarity with HR related policies and procedures and respond to routine requests and questions
- Any other job related duties and/or projects that may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education
- College diploma in Human Resources, Payroll or related field or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of previous human resources experience in a generalist position within a corporate environment
- Previous experience providing services to internal clients and other stakeholders
- Basic understanding of talent management concepts
- Previous experience with an HRIS and/or a talent management system
Core Competencies
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good judgment
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to deliver quality results while working under pressure
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer service.
Additional Requirements
- Working towards CHRP designation is an asset
Basic understanding of employment legislation is an asset.
