Attentional all Laborers

DLE Landscape Contractors Inc. is looking for hardworking and reliable laborers to support with snow removal this winter season.

**Position Summary**:
The Side Walk Crew will be responsible for maintaining private and commercial client properties to ensure a safe and presentable environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all sidewalks, walkways and access points are clear of snow and ice during the winter months. This position requires employees to work in challenging weather conditions and be able to lift and manage heavy equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and facilitate snow removal using ride on sidewalk machines, snow blowers, snow shovels, salt spreaders etc
- Assist with maintenance of winter equipment
- Proactive approach to weather conditions and coordination with crew
- Track and maintain company property and materials

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work in extreme weather for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and capability to follow instruction
- Capability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and supervisors
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset
- Valid Driver’s license an asset

Please note this position is seasonal however potential for yearly work may be available for dedicated and reliable employees. (20-50 hrs per week)

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

- Overtime pay

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
