Our services extend across Canada but we have local presence in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario.

**We are actively seeking Rescue Technicians that would like to work with our company on various projects throughout the year.**

**Position Details**
- This is a seasonal, project based position
- Peak season typically runs from April to September
- Project hours are typically 8-10 hours per day
- Shift rotations are project dependant

**Project Details**
- We are currently seeking certified technicians, that meet the qualifications below, who would like to be added to our 2025 call list
- Those added to the list will receive notice of awarded projects, and will be assigned on a first to respond, first to be dispatched basis

**Role Tasks**
- Provide rescue planning and support for persons working at heights, in confined spaces, and/or for medical response
- Perform confined space monitoring and rescue (including gas detection)
- Set up, inspect, and maintain rescue equipment and PPE
- Perform hazard identification, assessment, and control
- Ensure timely reporting of all hazards, near misses, accidents, incidents, injuries, and illnesses
- Provide safety training such as site orientations, PPE inspection and use, Confined Space Awareness, etc.
Assist with site safety duties, ensuring site personnel work in a safe manner and comply with OHS requirements
- Perform general site cleanup duties

**Qualifications**
- Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN
- 19 years of age or older
- Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Willing and able to travel and work out of town
- Willing and able to work outdoors, in varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing

**Certifications**
- Intermediate First Aid
- Fall Protection / Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor (CSE&M)
- Rescue Certification
- SPRAT or IRATA Rope Rescue
- High Angle Rescue
- NFPA 1006

**Assets**
- Lock Out / Tag Out Training Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Familairity with OH&S Act, Regulation, and Code
