Our services extend across Canada but we have local presence in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario.

**We are actively seeking Independant Contractors that would like to work with our company on various projects throughout the year, performing Rescue Technician duties.**

**Position Details**
- This is a seasonal, project based position
- Peak season typically runs from April to September
- Project hours are typically 10-12 per day
- Projects can run both day and night shift
- Projects typically run 7 days a week
- Shift rotations are project dependant

**Project Details**
- We are currently seeking independant contractors, that meet the qualifications below, who would like to be added to our 2025 call list
- Those added to the list will receive notice of awarded projects, and will be assigned on a first to respond, first to be dispatched basis

**Role Tasks**
- Perform confined space monitoring (including gas detection)
- Operate air / bottle trailer
- Set up, inspect, and maintain rescue equipment and PPE
- Perform hazard identification, assessment, and control
- Perform daily attendance / head count
- Assist with site safety duties, ensuring site personnel work in a safe manner and comply with OHS requirements
- Ensure timely reporting of all hazards, near misses, accidents, incidents, injuries, and illnesses
- Perform site cleanup duties

**Qualifications**
- Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN
- 19 years of age or older
- Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Willing and able to travel and work out of town
- Willing and able to work outdoors, in varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing

**Certifications**
- Intermediate First Aid
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor (CSE&M)

**Assets**
- Lock Out / Tag Out Training Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Familairity with OH&S Act, Regulation, and Code
- Have a working knowledge of specialized PPE including personal gas monitors and respirators
