Our work environment includes:

- Modern office setting

The setting is an ambulatory medical office environment providing outpatient and immediate post-operative patient care and minor surgical procedures - in conjunction with attending health care practitioners(physician/surgeon and RN)

**Responsibilities**:

- Take blood pressure, pulse, temperature and record fluid(urine) output and document in chart.
- Collect urine specimens as required by MD/RN for transport to hospital laboratory.
- Carry messages, reports, lab requisitions between the community office and hospital.
- Administer, in emergencies, first aid to injured or ill patients in accordance with scope of compentancy.
- Understand medical terminology; have working knowledge of anatomical terminology.
- Maintain patient confidentiality; be familiar with state and federal regulations governing confidentiality laws.
- Tidy up and prepare office examination rooms between patients for procedures.
- Maintenance of office equipment and supplies - including sterilization and setting up and operating diagnostic tools and equipment under MD/RN supervision.
- Taking and maintaining inventory of supplies.
- Accompanying patients between office and hospital ambulatory care unit.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
