**Position**

The PrairieSky Geosciences Team has an exciting opportunity for a Geology Summer Student. This role will assist our geology team in day-to-day technical evaluations of oil and gas assets and undertake an area-based mapping and evaluation project. This is a summer term position from May to August 2025.

**Responsibilities**

› Interpret well log data, pick tops.

› Evaluate completions and review well history and production.

› Determine production intervals and provide technical interpretation to land administration staff.

› Undertake geological reviews of lands available for lease and identify potential trends and prospects.

**Qualifications**

› Minimum completion of second year in a geology program.

› Familiarity with log interpretation, formation correlation and mapping, reservoir characterization.

› Excellent Microsoft Office capabilities.

› Previous experience with Accumap or geoSCOUT would be an asset.
