**Job Overview**

**What you’ll do**
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring prompt service.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions and upsell specials to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to create an inviting atmosphere for guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to refine your skills in food service, culinary knowledge, and hospitality best practices.

**Basic qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.

**Preferred qualifications**
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with fine dining service standards and culinary terminology enhances your ability to connect with guests.
- Previous host/host experience is beneficial for understanding guest flow dynamics.
