Business Intelligence Consultant, Extended

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in analytics, insights development, or strategy consulting.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining SQL scripts, tables, dashboards, and data sets.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in publishing data based insights to support a strategic business decision.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and statistical analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.).
- Ability to craft engaging and compelling narrative communications for customers (including executive stakeholders) reflecting an understanding of diverse audiences.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to influence cross-functional teams of all levels, including executive audiences.

**About the job**:
gTech’s Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team enables Product Areas to effectively and efficiently scale their outsourced operations while managing risk. Our goal is to enable our businesses to make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations. Our partnership with teams across Google aims to provide an excellent user experience and minimizes administrative burden throughout the xW process. We assist with xW planning and strategy, and provide tools to support Product Areas in managing their xWF infrastructure. We strike a balance between optimizing engagements and making sure xW policies and guidelines are followed.

The Solutions Design team is a lean team of strategic, cross-functional thinkers that understand Product Area needs, including risks and operational constraints and rethink xWS solutions within vertical teams. Additionally, the team incubates, pilots and rolls-out large-scale transformations, and leads change management across the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create data driven solutions to solve ambiguous, open-ended, and unstructured problems. Work on data modeling, metric development, data prototyping, and analysis using advanced BI techniques.
- Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for business priorities. Answer stakeholder questions related to dashboards, develop comprehensive knowledge of Google data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed.
- Use advanced AI/ML techniques or modeling techniques like anomaly detection, stack ranking, RFM (recency, frequency, monetary value), causal inference to solve business problems.
- Collaborate across multiple internal stakeholders for clarifying requirements, developing BI solutions and driving usage.
- Maintain existing SQL codebase, add new features to the existing framework, maintain the test environment and the production environment, and ensure that all new features are tested, signed off on, and flow through dash.
