**Job description: IT Support Specialist**

**Who We Are**

**What will you do as an IT Support Specialist?**
- Supporting a corporation with at least 20 physical servers and 200 endpoints in a multi-datacenter environment.
- Work with fellow IT /Engineering department team members to support and maintain on-premises, remote and cloud-based systems, and networks.
- Completes hardware and software requests using the Company’s service management system, from diagnosing issues and troubleshooting, through to delivering end user focused solutions.
- Assists in the evaluation and deployment of vendor patches, releases and new products and specific project teams with implementation, training, and documentation.
- Participate in our 24/7/365 on-call support rotation.
- Other related Tasks assigned by your peers.

**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary Degree in an IT related field as well as relevant certifications.
- CCNA / PCNSA Networking certification is a major asset.
- Minimum 4+ years of Information Technology experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a desire to provide pro-active end user focused support.
- Experience with Linux Administration (Ubuntu) an Asset
- VMware Administration knowledge would be an Asset
- Ability to manage and maintain private and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
