**A Day in the Life of a Junior Buyer at Simply Computing**

A Junior Buyer is responsible for purchasing inventory for all retail store locations to meet current and future sales demands, while keeping inventory at appropriate levels to reduce cost and waste. The Junior Buyer is also responsible for maintaining strategic relationships with vendors to reap maximum benefits for the company.

**What You Will Do**
- Purchases inventory and ensures adequate stock levels for each location to maximize sales while minimizing overstock.
- Analyzes stores’ inventory requirements using POS reports, manager insights, and market trends.
- Assists with forecasting stock levels based on sales history, market trends, seasonal trends, and marketing activities.
- Maintains vendor relationships to get the best costs for products, advanced notifications of product line changes, and preferential treatment for return and exchange privileges.
- Ensures obsolete and stale stock is returned to vendors or written down to market cost to accommodate quick sale.

**What You Bring to the Role**
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Fluent in English; excellent oral and written skills required.
- Apple hardware and accessory product knowledge required.
- Analytical skills, with knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting.

**Working Conditions**
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays occasionally, on short notice, to accommodate tight product launch deadlines.
- We follow the provincial health orders regarding Covid-19 and communicable diseases.
- Expected start date: Immediate.
- Salary range: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00, depending on education and experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
