We are currently hiring a Team Leader at our exciting Castlemore location in Markham. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation and various other duties required in a cafe. Store Location: - 9850 Markham Rd, Unit 4, Markham ON L6E0H7 Key Qualifications: - Food & Beverage experience considered an asset - Food Handler Certification is required - Exceptional customer service skills - Enjoys working independently and in a team setting - Excellent communication skills - Self-motivated, organized and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends and holidays Job Duties include: - Assist management in scheduling and chairing all meetings including monthly team lead meetings and staff meetings; - Provide feedback on staff performances for monthly employee of the month awards; - Assist inventory management including but not limited to ordering inventory as required; - Assist in performing monthly inventory counts including weekly inventory receiving; - Ensure that the store and all staff are compliant with Chatime’s current policies, procedures, promotions, campaigns, training content, etc.; - Assist in maintaining a healthy roster of exceptional staff by conducting frequent recruiting; - Enforce daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules of all spaces and equipment as per Chatime’s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness Standard; - Travel to the bank to get coins and small bills for the cash register; - Buy local ingredients, supplies, etc., for the store as required; - Solve complex customer service issues; - Provide staff evaluation and recommendation for promotion readiness; - Ensure end of day reports and duties are performed correctly and funds are balanced daily; - Report all conflicts and any situations to management that may require disciplinary action; and, - Other job duties as required. Required education: - High school graduate or equivalent Operating Hours & Availability: - Opening shifts can be starting as early as 9:00am.
