**About the Opportunity**:
The **Sales Supervisor** is responsible for managing City Cruises ticketed programs, as well as answering group and individual phone enquiries. The supervisor will also act as the coordinator with the Sales Team and Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure all independent dining dates/spaces are continually updated and accurate. The Sales Supervisor will act as the onsite representative for the Sales Department, in the ticket kiosk, at cruise boarding’s, as required. The supervisor will troubleshoot and assist with optimizing each public sailing through floor plan management and effective communication with the delivery teams.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develops comprehensive knowledge of reservation system and checks to ensure public cruise information is up to date. Communicates regularly with DOSM to identify missing cruise offering information in reservation system.
- Reviews event schedule daily to ensure adequate availability of individual reservations while taking note of dates where prices are yielded.
- Regularly communicates high and low demand cruises to the group sales team with the goal of driving budget conscious groups to cruises with low demand.
- Ability to identify creative methods to increase sales at the ticket booth for all cruise type.
- Create floor plans and assign bookings.
- Ensure all pre ordered upsells are recorded accurately and conveyed to operations departments and order any items e.g. roses etc. from outside vendors in timely manner.
- Assist with creating and managing weekly schedules for guest service agents to ensure adequate coverage for all ticket booth locations while staying within budgeted payroll allocations.
- Works alongside team daily and on major holidays to efficiently check in all reservations and immediately troubleshoot any guest challenges while on site.
- Attends weekly sales/ops/catering meetings and brings specific information regarding groups and individual reservations back to ticket booth staff as necessary.
- Organizes team building activities periodically throughout the year for the ticket booth team and supporting staff.
- Develop strategies and tactics to achieve and exceed ticket booth sales targets daily, monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Work alongside DOSM to make recommendations for specialty cruises calendar for all major holidays.
- Support DOSM by assisting in monthly forecasting, as it relates to public cruise pace and availabilities.
- Prepare sales contracts, correspondence, reports, forms, direct mail pieces, etc., as requested by Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Drive onboard revenue by developing marketing collateral (i.e. table talkers) in collaboration with F&B and DOSM.
- Develops and maintains contact client databases.
- Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
- Provides support where needed for day of arrivals, reservation discrepancies.
- Identifies and sells to new revenue streams as assigned.
- Supports sales actions, FAM’s, visits, promotions to insure excellent service and sales.
- Responsible for maintaining excellent relations and increasing revenues.
- Maintains relationships with tour operator planners, buyers, guides, etc.
- Fulfills sales protocol to maximize revenue opportunities through upsells and cross sales.
- Assist all teams within the Sales Department as assigned by DOSM.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- O.S.S.D or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education.
- Two years guest service/hospitality or marketing/sales experience required.
- Previous leadership experience in a similar role or a related field is preferable.
- Possess a strong work ethic and ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of another language in addition to English is considered an asset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
- Some college coursework preferred.
