Oshawa, Canada Durham Regional Locksmiths Full time

Durham Regional Locksmiths is seeking an experienced Locksmith for road and in-shop work. 2+ years experience required - You must be able to work independently on the road from DAY 1.

Compensation offered: $21 - $35 depending on Locksmith experience, and deployable skillset. At this time we are NOT considering applicants without LOCKSMITH experience.

Base Responsibilities:

- Repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of locks and security systems.
- Respond to booked service calls promptly and efficiently.
- Perform rekeying services to enhance security measures.
- Install misc Door hardware including Cylindrical, Mortise, Door Closers etc.
- Keep accurate records of service calls and customer information (Computer and cell phone use).
- Stay up to date with the latest locksmithing techniques and security systems.
- Working hours 8:30 - 5:30 Mon-Friday.

Skills and Qualifications:

- 2+ years locksmith work history.
- Experience in cutting various key types including dimple and tubular.
- Experience in using locksmithing tools, such as key cutters, misc power tools (drills, grinders).
- Excellent reliability, personal time management and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- A valid driver's license.

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Oshawa, ON L1H 4J9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
