Repair Planner

CSN (Golden Triangle Collision / Regency) is a respected auto repair company that has been in business for over 50 years with 4 locations in the Waterloo Region and Guelph. We are currently looking for an experienced Repair Planner (Estimator) to join our Waterloo team.

The Repair Planner (Estimator) is an integral part of our operation. This role is responsible for examining the damage to vehicles and preparing estimates accordingly. They will determine the costs associated with repairing, restoring, upgrading, and replacing damaged parts following the automobile industry safety standards. Additionally, they will work with the Collision Repair Technicians to ensure quality work and coordinate with other departments through the process. This role requires the job incumbent to remain up to date on market trends, prices and competitor strategies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- 2+ years’ experience in estimating/collision theory.
- Solid knowledge of the Automotive and Collision industry.
- Familiar with insurance company policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy - Mitchell and Qapter estimating systems knowledge required. Price matching experience a plus.
- Positive attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer focused. Enjoys working with a variety of different people and working through various scenarios with them.
