Construction Manager

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Lead and manage 1-2 construction crews of 2-4 staff each.
- Lead and manage projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the construction process to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with landscape designer(s), management and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
- Assist estimator with construction estimates, including material costs, labour requirements, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly to maintain project schedules.
- Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained prior to commencing work on-site.
- Provide leadership and direction to the construction team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Snow removal and salting in winter months switching to on call 24/7.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection processes and standards in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction hardscaping techniques, tools, materials.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for site visits.

**This job is physically demanding (working outdoors throughout the season), but very rewarding.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
