Prestige Hospitality Corp is seeking a **Security Officer** (Dual Property) for Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North and Homewood Suites by Hilton Calgary Airport, which is perfectly situated close to Calgary International Airport.

**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking a **Security Officer** on a **contract basis** to help ensure the safety and security of our property, guests, and staff. This role involves **365-day coverage**, including weekends and public holidays.

As a Security Officer, you will conduct regular patrols, respond to incidents, monitor surveillance and access control systems, and assist in emergency situations—all while maintaining a professional, calm, and proactive presence

**Key Responsibilities**
- Patrol all property areas (including guest floors and outside compound) to maintain a secure environment
- Assist guests with room access and service-related needs
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, fire life safety systems
- Conduct daily hazard inspections and lock property entrances as needed
- Respond to emergencies (medical, fire, security) and administer CPR/First Aid or contact EMS
- Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Manage guest or employee disturbances and escort unauthorized individuals from the property
- Conduct security investigations and gather evidence
- Maintain confidentiality of reports, sensitive information, and company assets
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards

**Requirements**:

- Must be legally eligible to work on a contract basis
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods
- Able to lift to 50 lbs unassisted; 75+ lbs with assistance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills (incident reporting, security systems)
- This is a night-time position only
- Must pass background screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or must be obtained during employment)
- Additional licensing may be required based on provincial/state laws

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience
- Experience working in hospitality or large property environments
