**This is a Night Shift Position Only**

Mixers are responsible to mix various batters, doughs and glazes for our products - as well as stand in to support the Line Operations when required, and record all actions in our food safety management system.
- Stage ingredients needed for all batches of dough, icing and filling
- Ensure all mixing equipment is set up daily at the beginning of shift:

- Ensure food safety remains high priority and is an ambassador for a food-safe culture
- Follows all recipes for proper quantities, ingredient portioning, wet & dry mixing requirements as per specifications
- Visual inspections of raw materials required for actual baking of the products to ensure they are not expired or damaged as per Quality Assurance requirements.
- Following all Del’s recipes and ensure any variances fall within specifications
- Keep daily records of all mixing operations, ingredient usage, mixing times, lot numbers and ingredient expiration as per Quality Assurance records.
- Work closely with lead hands to ensure efficiency along the line and maintain order for changeover/breaks and other requirements
- Report and ingredient issues or spoilage directly to Supervisor and Quality Assurance
- Report and mechanical issues to Supervisor
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Follow housekeeping guidelines
- Achieves targeted batches as per production schedule
- Provide break relief for all general labourer positions
- Additional responsibilities & duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous mixing or baking experience strong asset
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. consistently
- Ability to understand operational paperwork
- Must be able to follow guidelines and instructions
- Motivated, engaged, and an outstanding team player
- Attention to detail
- Technical abilities to inspect potential issues
- Computer skills
- Physically fit to endure workday on the plant floor, walking & standing.
