By joining our team, you’ll be called upon to contribute to various stages of study and engineering mandates in instrumentation and automation engineering, specifically within the field of operational technologies.
As Department Manager, Automation, you’ll play a key role in achieving our strategic objectives and work with our teams across Canada. You’ll be responsible for managing the department’s human, financial and material resources and overseeing the progress of activities to achieve operational efficiency objectives.**

**An overview of your mandates and responsibilities**
- Plan, coordinate and supervise consulting services in operational technologies, particularly in instrumentation and automation
- Develop the technical skills of department members (training, work methods, etc.) and actively participate in recruiting and hiring qualified personnel to achieve BBA’s strategic objectives
- Develop relationships with clients and prepare competitive proposals
- Actively participate in project delivery within your expertise as a technical contributor or project manager
- Monitor and assess employees under your supervision
- Work with the internal Innovation and Practice teams to increase department efficiency and ensure a structured approach to project delivery

**Overview of job requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or automated production engineering and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, or equivalent relevant experience
- Ten or more years of relevant experience in automation, programming and operational technologies
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages
