**Summary**:
NuBuild is currently seeking qualified, self motivated and hard-working individuals for our full-time positions in underground cable technician positions.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for the repair and installation of existing and new Rogers Communications service cables and hard cables (Coaxial) in York, Durham, Mississauga & Simcoe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prep and Splice hard cables (0.500, 0.625, 0.750 etc..)
- Remove and replace Passive equipment (taps, splitters etc.)
- Remove and replace nodes and install new nodes
- Remove active equipment (line extenders and trunks)
- Great customer service skills
- Knowledge of technology

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Rogers service wire burial;
- Must be able to work in varied weather conditions;
- Must have strong work ethic, self-disciplined, motivated and organized;
- Must be physically fit i.e. capable of bending, kneeling and climbing ladders;
- Must have dexterity to use hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, pliers, side cutters, etc.)
- Must be able to carry and climb a 10 ft straight ladder and 28 ft extension ladder weighing 80 pounds;
- Must be able to manage time efficiently to ensure that deadlines are met in order to satisfy customer needs;
- Must be able to work well alone and as part of a team;
- Previous landscaping and/or general labor experience is an asset
