Production Manager

Reporting to the Plant manager, the Production Manager plans, organizes, measures, improves, and controls all production-related activities. The manager must maintain good working relationships with all employees and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and enforcing occupational health and safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities
1. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls various production activities in a plant or workshop to achieve set productivity goals.
2. Mobilizes employees, applies and maintains regulations and programs related to occupational health and safety, personnel management, training, quality control and equipment maintenance;
3. Measures performance and develops team members to achieve set objectives.
4. Assesses and determines labor needs and collaborates on the workforce planning to maximize production efficiency.
5. Develops and implements indicators to measure the achievement of objectives in their area; implements corrective measures to increase productivity, improve work methods, and achieve set results.
6. Identifies needs and makes recommendations regarding work methods and equipment with a focus on continuous improvement;
7. Oversees and develops the planning team to ensure smooth and accurate operations.
8. Perform any other task necessary for the smooth operation of their department.
**Skills**:
1) Qualifications
- Degree in industrial engineering or any other combination of relevant education and experience;
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including 2 to 3 years in production management;
- Good command of spoken French and functional English;
