That’s why we need your expertise and passion to complete our team **The role we are offering you**: - Reporting directly to the Director of Programs, the Portfolio Leader has overall responsibility for the portfolio projects' delivery (cost, schedule, scope and quality) - Manage the execution of the projects/programs guided by broad organizational strategic objectives and project management methodology - Manage, influence and develop the project managers to ensure that the projects/programs are successfully completed within time, cost, scope and quality constraints - Lead budget and forecast planning for the projects - Responsible and accountable for the projects Portfolio P&L - Drive the projects/programs schedule, progress, risk and major milestones with Project Managers and line departments - Act as prime customer contact for negotiations, issue escalation, etc. - Manage relationships, communications and negotiations with customers and stakeholders (internal/external) as required - University undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences or a related field of study - PMP certification or equivalent accreditation is required - 10+ years of relevant experience - Proven track record of managing a team and implementing complex programmes - Knowledge of CAE technical and operational practices, procedures and products an asset - Ability to travel within Canada on a regular (25%) basis - Bilingualism (French and English) is required - Experience collaborating with a multitude of clients - Be able to hold a Canadian Security Clearance & Controlled Good Clearance - Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit **CAE offers**: - An environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valued - Autonomy within a responsible position with a high visibility - A supportive, dynamic team and a friendly corporate culture - Excellent career opportunities within an international, growth-oriented company - The opportunity to travel within Canada or globally - The opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a multidisciplinary team - The possibility to work from home occasionally - Flexible schedules - A wide range of services for your health and personal well being, with a company benefits plan, pension and stock purchase plans Come share your passion with us **About CAE**: At CAE, we equip people in critical roles with the expertise and solutions to create a safer world.
