Our primary products out of this location are Wound Distributed Gap Cores, Mitre and Butt Lap Laminations, Logs and Fully Assembled Cores in our Flat Stack Department, Steel Sales, Custom Slitting and a warehousing for Tempel Steel’s laminations.

**Job Summary**:
The office administrator/receptionist acts as the primary point of contact for all visitors entering the facility. This role involves providing general administrative support to assist staff with various tasks.

**Principle Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist Plant Manager with reporting
- Supports office administrative functions
- Database or system administration tasks, including data input, reporting, user support
- Reconcile employee travel expenses & send to AP for processing
- Coordinate and book travel arrangements for team members (i.e. airline tickets, hotels)
- Monitors inventory and places orders for office supplies
- Mail distribution & arrange courier service
- Assist HR activities such as employee onboarding, interview coordination, training initiatives, and other special projects, such as employee events.
- Assist HR with onboarding & benefit packages
- Order various gift cards & gifts for employees & prepare for distribution
- Scanning documents to files for various departments
- Orders lunches for meetings & onboarding employees
- Ensure boardrooms are stocked, tidy & clean
- Ensure coffee stations are stocked, tidy & clean
- Monitors front door
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by your manager

**Required Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative experience
- Outstanding customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
