**Duties**

**Leadership**
- Responsible for supporting daily door to door sales team
- Develops and executes action annual, monthly, weekly plans to achieve strategic goals.
- Regularly interacts with staff, building relationships and following up on the status of key projects or initiatives.
- Personally accountable for the team results, and holds their team accountable to their results.
- Plans out sales team outcomes - long term, annual, quarter, monthly, and weekly goals.
- Participates in quarterly town halls, strategic meetings, tactical meetings.

**Management**
- Develop and define clear sales targets and objectives for the sales team.
- Reviews daily management and departmental dashboards to devise solutions and improvements.
- Schedule the teams turf a week in advance of knocking.
- Holds regularly scheduled, rarely missed 1:1s with all direct reports, and daily huddles.
- Organize daily mornings, and wrap up meetings to motivate and inform the team about sales goals, updates, and best practices.
- Overseeing job site marketing and strategy.
- Engages in conflict resolution and works with managers, staff, suppliers and clients to resolve issues.
- Plans and delivers daily sales training on both sales skills and product knowledge to the team.
- Chooses and trains a back-up to carry out own duties in case of absence.

**Sales Team Management**
- Identify training needs for the sales team and implement training programs to improve skills and knowledge. Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to improve team performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and give good feedback to the team.
- Organize training sessions for the sales team to develop skills, improve product knowledge, and enhance selling techniques. Motivates the team on a daily basis.
- Provides general support to the sales team as needed. Answers sales and product knowledge questions.
- Participates in “joint knocks” with sales staff either to coach performance or interact with the customer to bring the sale closer to a close.
- Manages reviews, leads, estimates, DQs, and team results to devise solutions, rehash sales, and improvements.
- Have plans in place for when the sales team has down time. Door knocking, calling old deals, etc.

**Performance Tracking**
- Regularly assess sales performance and provide reports to upper management.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Track and evaluate the performance of the sales team against KPIs and sales targets.

**Sales**
- Develops and implements the sales processes, including attracting, qualifying and converting potential customers.
- Acts as the Corporate Sales Rep, developing key relationships with corporate clients as needed.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Online quotes as needed or oversee them
- Works with staff to develop and update marketing materials and presentations and makes presentations to clients.
- Researches, evaluates and approves all regularly attended and newly upcoming trade shows and sales events.
- Reviews lost jobs with management and sales staff to understand reasons for loss and incorporates lessons learned for future estimates.
- If a sales rep leaves, take over their accounts, and delegate accordingly.
- Responds to escalated client inquiries in a timely manner (estimates, quotes, issues, etc.).

**Human Resources**
- Build and lead a high performing sales team to achieve sales goals,encourage collaboration amongst staff and lead by example.
- Recruits, hires, and onboards all direct/indirect reports as needed. Follows all termination standards and consults management prior to doing so.
- Follow strategic plans for new hires, and always be searching for the best sales talent.
- Motivates and disciplines (including termination) as needed.
- Prepares, modifies, and delivers job descriptions and performance evaluations to direct reports.
- Develops short and long-term HR requirements in cooperation with the President and HR Administrator.
- Follows all on board and exit checklists.

**Marketing**
- Support marketing as needed.
- Make sure direct mail is sent to turf prior to door knocking.

**General**
- Fills out daily and weekly checklists. Make sure the D2D sales team is also filling out the checklists.
- Spends the majority of the day in the field with the team.
- Follows best practises for meetings, sales process, and other SOPS.
- Plans out turf first with the best neighborhoods, and recently completed projects.
- Creates and updates process flows, sales procedures, checklists, and other documentation.
- Always aiming for continuous improvement.
- Fills out the annual, quarter, and month planning and review documents. Manages the team through these sheets and CRM software.
